WasteMates' rubbish removal starts from $200 per job and depends on volume, weight, item type and access. We give you a ballpark over the phone and confirm a fixed, upfront price on site before we start — with no hidden fees. See our pricing page for more.
In most cases, yes — WasteMates can often fit in same-day rubbish removal, especially for calls received early in the day. Same-day availability depends on the day's bookings and your location. Call 0494 013 254 to check.
We're based in Mooroolbark and cover the surrounding Yarra Ranges, Maroondah and Knox suburbs — Chirnside Park, Lilydale, Kilsyth, Kilsyth South, Montrose, Mount Evelyn, Croydon, Croydon North, Croydon Hills, Wonga Park, Coldstream, Ringwood East, Heathmont and Bayswater North. Not always. As long as the rubbish is accessible and we can confirm the quote, WasteMates can do the job while you're out. We'll send confirmation and can text photos once it's done.
For safety and legal reasons WasteMates can't take asbestos or anything containing it, hazardous chemicals or liquids, or medical or biohazard waste. Almost everything else is fair game — if in doubt, give us a call.
Absolutely. WasteMates sorts every load and diverts as much as possible to recycling, donation and green-waste facilities — we aim to keep around 80% out of landfill. It's better for Melbourne and better for everyone.
Nope — that's the whole point. The WasteMates crew does all the lifting and loading themselves, from wherever the items are, including upstairs and out the back. You don't lift a finger.
WasteMates accepts card, cash and bank transfer, and you only pay once the job's done and you're happy. We'll confirm payment options when you book.
